WHAT KIND OF PHOTOGRAPHIC EQUIPMENT DO YOU HAVE?
I shoot a Canon 5D digital camera and a variety of lenses. I use Alien Bee 800 lights and a slew of softboxes, umbrellas and reflectors. I’m also a fan of small strobes and have a couple of Vivitar 285Hs and a Canon 580EXII.
HOW DO YOU DELIVER PROOFS?
I can post digital proofs to my website or email you actual “proofsheets”. Whatever you prefer.
CAN YOU MAKE ME PRINTS?
If you’d like to order prints, I can upload the images to Smugmug and you can order a dazzling variety of items directly through them. It’s easy as pie!
DO I GET ALL THE FILES FROM THE SHOOT OR JUST MY EDITED SELECTION?
I release only the edited files.
DO YOU HAVE A STUDIO?
Yes, I do. I have a studio in the Stutz Building, located in downtown Indianapolis. I can email you a pdf file with directions as needed.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO YOU BOOK SHOOTS?
Currently due to my commitments to editorial assignments, I book portrait/test sessions 6 weeks in advance.
DO YOU SHOOT FAMILIES, SENIORS, BABIES, BELLIES or WEDDINGS?
No, I don’t but I do know a number of outstanding wedding and family photographers that I would be happy to refer you to.
CAN I BRING MY OWN HAIR STYLIST OR MAKE-UP ARTIST or DO MY OWN MAKE-UP?
In a word, “no”. I have to assume that you are interested in working with me because of the way my images and the people in them look. Hopefully it doesn’t come as a surprise, but the pictures look the way they do because of the incredibly talented people that I work with on every shoot. I know that it’s entirely possible that you are or someone you know is a whiz at either hair or make-up or styling, but I’m just not willing to take the risk. Sorry!
